KUCHING: Bidayuh businessman Dato Henry Harry Jinep, was chosen as the winner of the Bumiputera Entrepreneur Excellence Award at the Sarawak Bumiputera Entrepreneur Award 2015 here, last night.
Henry, 47, who owns Putra Sentosa Enterprise, received a certificate and plaque presented by Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Haji Adenan Satem.
The award-winning entrepreneur, who hails from Singai in Bau, has been involved in the business field for 15 years.
Henry had won the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) awards for three consecutive years since 2012.
Meanwhile, Ir. Janang Anak Bungsu from Konsortium Bumi Consultants and Services Sdn Bhd received the Successful Professional Entrepreneur Award.
Other winners were Rewi Hamid Bugo from Petra Jaya Properties Sdn Bhd who received the Successful Entrepreneur Award in construction/property development.
Abdul Mokhtarin Anuar from Faiz Engineering (Promising Male Entrepreneur Award) and Amin Aznizan from Cinqasa Sdn Bhd (Youth Entrepreneur Award).
The event was jointly organised by the Sarawak Bumiputera Entrepreneur Chamber, Teraju, Idris Ibrahim & Co and the state government, and aimed to encourage efforts in producing successful Bumiputera entrepreneurs and to recognise those who excel in business. – Bernama
